Did you just hear that Shatta Wale has just made Sammy Flex his manager?
Yes! He did. There is something most artistes should learn from it.
I am not here to quantify Sammy's wealth against that of Shatta Wale but I want artistes to know that it's high time they stopped looking for managers out of very rich people. That's not to say he is not financially capable, but he might not be richer than Shatta Wale and will be spending any money on him ; it might be the reverse where Shatta Wale will be paying him.
People might wonder why he employed him as a manager. Sammy is a complete human resource who has the right brain to put things right for Shatta Wale. His advice, guidance and counseling are just what Shatta Wale need to grow. He will be telling Shatta Wale what to do and what not to do, what to say and what not to say. And when and how to do things.
Do not misconstrue a manager for an investor. There are two different things. If you have the resources to do things for yourself, then you do not need a manager out of a rich person. A manager can be anyone out there with brilliant ideas who can make a do out of your talent.
It could even be your mother, father, friend or even your younger brother once the person has rich ideas. It's not always about investing in your talent, managing your talent is equally important because good investment without proper management is waste of resources...
